Introduction
The Department of Samurdhi Development was established under the Divineguma Act No 01 of 2013. The main objective in establishing this Department is the eradication of poverty and the creation of a society ensuring social justice, through the promotion of livelihood economic development activities centered on the individual, the family, the group and the community.
